Small or large Tax Deductible donations can be made directly to the fund at PO Box 210, Blackburn, or electronically from this website. (See donation options below for details)

Community, philanthropic trusts and business are encouraged to donate.

  • Donations can be ‘single’, ‘recurring’ or ‘bequests’.
  • Donations can be in cash, land or shares.
  • Donations can be targeted to a cause or general to meet the funds objectives.

Donations made to protect and enhance the natural environment of the City of Whitehorse will have ongoing community benefits.

  • Contributions are tax-deductible.
  • Contributions will be allocated to activities that support the objectives of the fund.
  • Contributions will not replace funds that Council would otherwise contribute.

Directly by cheque:
You can complete a cheque now and post it to: The Blackburn & District Environment Protection Fund (BDEPF), PO Box 210, Blackburn Vic. 3130.

Targeted donations are welcome by nominating the cause for the donation. Find out how the BDEPF Donation Process works.

Online Through:
1. The ‘Our Community Website’.
DonateButtonOne off or recurring donations or bequest are accepted. The City of Whitehorse community donor program also lists the fund and links the ‘Our Community Website’. To donate now select the box to the right.

2. ShareGift Australia.
ShareGift Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that provides Australian shareholders with the opportunity to sell their shares and donate the proceeds to charity. Selling and donating through ShareGift Australia means you don’t have to engage a stockbroker, there are no brokerage fees and should the proceeds of the sale exceed $50.00 you can nominate The Blackburn & District Environment Protection Fund (BDEPF) to benefit from ShareGift Australia distributions.

All you have to do is complete and sign the Share sale donation form available on the ShareGift Australia website and remember to recommend The Blackburn & District Environment Protection Fund (BDEPF).
